- You are expected to be in your seat when the bell rings at the start of class. If you are out of your seat, you are tardy.
- Bring all of your materials to class and be ready to learn. We work the entire hour from bell to bell. Failure to bring materials will result in students returning to their locker for missing materials and a tardy.
- If you are tardy, you will receive a verbal warning and it will be marked in Synergy. After three tardies, and each tardy thereafter, detention will be assigned (every 3 tardies is counted as 1 day absent).
Ending Class: Students are expected to stay in their seats until they are dismissed by the teacher, not the bell.
Be Responsible:
- Chromebooks must remain under your desk unless you are instructed to take them out.
- Chromebooks must be flat on your desk when in use.
- Chromebooks are only to be used for English 7 related activities (no emailing, messaging, or checking grades unless instructed to do so).
- Teachers have the right to look through your Chromebook.
- If you are using the Chromebook inappropriately, you will be given one warning. If the behavior continues, it will be taken away.

Violation #3 - Detention and loss of privilege to take device home for the period of 20 school days
Be Attentive:
- When the teacher reviews the directions and expectations, you may begin working.
- When the teacher counts backwards from five, you need to stop and give your full attention.
- Cell phones should be put away BEFORE you enter class and are not to be used during class. If they are being used they will be confiscated and brought to the office.
- Fidget spinners are not allowed in class.
Late/ Missing Assignments
- Students are responsible for finding out the work they missed while absent. Daily work and assignments will be posted on the agenda listed on the teacher webpage. If you still have questions, ask during work time.
- Students will have 2 days to complete missing work for every 1 excused absence.
- You must arrange a time outside of class to make-up any missed tests or quizes due to an excused absence. You have only one week from the day tests are given to make up the test.
- Assignments are due at the specified due date. Late work will not receive more than 70% of the points.
Be Considerate:
